Uncle Roland shared some of his last time with me. One day we went to Dad's (Carl) bank to do some business and the Lee statue had just been removed. We rode around Monument Ave talked he shared some memories and giggled at the past and present state of Richmond. He confided in me in ways I'll keep to myself because he gave that to me. I love you, Uncle Roland. You will always live in my memory. That is God's ever present mercy.
