Ardene was educated in the Worth County Public School System at that time.
Ardene gave her life to Christ at an early age and joined the Charity Grove Baptist Church in Doles, Georgia.
Ardene was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Mr. Ulyess Chever, Sr. She was blessed with ten children.

She also enjoyed cooking, quilting, sewing, and fellowshipping with friends and family. She was also known for driving fast “Hot Rod” cars. Her saying was to “Let It Roll!” Ardene was a jokester and always had a comical word for everyone.
Our Loved One heard the Master call for her to “Come and take your rest, my child” on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia. Her parents, her husband, a daughter, Mary Helen Davis, a sister, Elnora Rodgers, and a brother, Alphonzo Rowe, have all preceded her in death.
