The funeral services for the late Mrs. Cynthia Elaine Parker Chambers, who departed this life on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from the Henry Hall Woolard Community Center, Sylvester, Georgia. Pastor J. W. Bentley will deliver the Eulogy. Burial will follow in the Shepard Memorial Garden Cemetery, Sylvester, Georgia.
Cynthia Elaine Parker Chambers was born on December 8, 1958, in Sylvester, Georgia to Mrs. Ruth Parker.
Cynthia attended schools in the Worth County Public School System and graduated from Worth County High School.
Cynthia gave her life to Christ at an early age and joined the Pentecostal Full Gospel Crusade Church in Poulan, Georgia. She served as a faithful and dedicated member until her health began to decline.
On September 13, 1985, Cynthia was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Homer J. Chambers.
Cynthia dedicated nearly 30 years of her life to teaching, a calling she carried far beyond the classroom. She was also a dedicated school bus driver, ensuring the safe and caring transport of countless children over the years. Her students were an extension of her heart, and so much so that at home she would often call her own children by her students’ names — a habit that became a familiar and humorous reminder that teaching was truly part of who she was.
Family was the center of Cynthia’s world. She was a steady presence, fiercely loyal, and deeply loving. Her laughter, her sayings, her lessons — both in and out of the classroom — and her unique ways of showing affection will be missed beyond words, but never forgotten. Cynthia was known for her bold personality, infectious confidence, and unmistakable sense of humor. Her affection was expressed in ways only she could manage — including her legendary habit of playfully biting loved ones on the forehead. She was also famous for helping herself to food from others’ plates instead of making her own plate, a habit that always drew laughter and became a part of her charm. An excellent cook, Cynthia was unmatched in the kitchen — no one could cook quite like her. Cooking was one of the many ways she showed love, and she proudly passed down some of her treasured recipes to her sisters, ensuring her flavors and traditions would live on.
Cynthia Elaine Parker Chambers gave up this busy walk of life on December 16, 2025, surrounded by love. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Ruth Parker, and her sister, Gwendolyn Roberts.
Cynthia leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted husband, Homer J. Chambers; her children, Catrina Parker-Bolduc, Kedrick J. Chambers; her stepdaughter, Shamonica (Jasaman) Denson, with whom she resided and by whom she was lovingly cared for, along with a host of devoted caregivers; her cherished grandchildren, Devin and Aaron, (children of Catrina) and Daydreon (child of Kedrick); her loving sisters, Charlotte Terrell, Annette Parker-White, Sonya Parker-Harrell, and Bridget Parker-Ellis; and a host of other relatives, her church family, and many, many sorrowing friends.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Cynthia was a wonderful and special spiritual daughter, beautiful inside and outside. Her genuine warm personality and smile made all feel loved and accepted. Every time I preached in the area she and Nita would come. They were true servants of the Lord. They even visited me in my home when I resided in Atlanta. She loved God and His people and it showed. I will forever love and cherish her memory. I thank God for her life and for allowing our paths to cross. I celebrate her life and legacy. I thank God for promoting her from earth to glory. Praying for her family and her friend Nita Clyde. May God strengthen and comfort you. Mother Judy Hines Green Valley, Arizona
Praying God strengthen and comfort the family during this difficult time.
Cynthia was a very special sister and friend to me. I'm very careful who I call friend but I can truly say she was my friend/sister. She was beautiful inside and out, always smiling. We met during our early years and been friends ever since. We gave our lives to Jesus Christ and severed him together. My heart is sad but I'm know she is in no more pain. Kedrick I love you and the rest of the family. My heart goes out to you all during this difficult time. I can tell you this though, you will never forget but God through prayer will keep you, your sisters, brother Homer, her sisters and other family members. Keep trusting and holding to God's never changing hand. Brenda Womack Hamilton
