To Maxter Jr. and the Allen family, I want to express my sincerest condolences in the loss of your mother. Mrs. Allen was a quiet and sweet giant. I'm glad to have known her in several capacities and am thankful for the memories. Sincerely, Debbie Taylor
Greetings, Foxworth Allen family, I am so sad that we cannot be with you in person in the celebration of Aunt Hazel's life. Know that myself and my family are there with you in spirit. I so appreciate how Aunt Hazel helped support us cousins in knowing and spending time with each other. I always felt her love and caring. I also enjoyed her laugh and the way she "managed" grandma Leacy (I hope that doesn't sound negative - it was all in love). In terms of ceremony, I chose the option of planting trees as my going home gift celebration, as I know Aunt Hazel "dug deep" on many issues in life, particularly her grandchildren, her church and her role as an educator.
Peace, Valerie Batts
