MR. ISRAEL LEE HINTON JR.
When He comes for me I shall be changed in a twinkling of an eye, I’ll put off this mortal for immortality. “In a moment, in a twinkling of an eye”. Born to Israel Lee Hinton Sr. (deceased) and Willie Mae, Israel Lee Hinton Jr. (known to all as Junior) after a brief illness got his wings on August 8, 2021.

After graduating from high school, Junior joined the United States Army and served in the Regular Army from 1990 to 1994. After leaving active duty, he completed his service obligation in the Army Reserves until November 26, 1997.
During his military career he trained as a boxer and was awarded the nickname “Stonie” because he had great stamina and tenacity in the ring. Still loving the craft, he devoted time to training the youth at the Charlotte Boxing Academy. He was a mentor to the younger men and boys leading by example. While in the military Israel became a member of the Freemasonry and reached the level of the 14th degree Grand Elect Mason, Perfect Elu. He formerly owned and operated a personal training studio by the name of New Outlook Personal Training located in Noda (Charlotte, NC), this was his first entrepreneurial venture.
After leaving the Army Reserves, Junior decided to work independently as a contracted truck driver, owning his own rig. He named his company “Lee Logistic”. He traveled over the road from East to West, from North to South faithfully until his death. Junior was a man whose physical fitness was unmatched. He worked out, ate clean and was cognizant of good health. He was a man who loved his family.
He leaves behind his mother, Willie Mae Hinton of Wadesboro NC, his children, Devonte Lee Hinton of Charlotte, NC, SSGT LeAndre Marquan Hinton (Christine) of South Carolina, and Daisia Blaire Hinton of Georgia, his sister, Josephine Robinson of Charlotte, NC, brother, Frank Liles of Wadesboro, NC, and sister, Rena Liles of Charlotte, NC, his nephew, Anthony Bernard Robinson of Greensboro, NC, niece, Keisha Seals of Charlotte, NC, niece, Tonya Robinson of Charlotte, NC, nephew, Lamont Liles of Raleigh, NC, nephew, Marquese Liles of Wadesboro, NC. I am the 1st cousin of Israel Jr on his father side - Teresa Pratt (Betty Condry's oldest daughter). Israel and my youngest sister (Tanja Smith) were close like sisters and brothers. They were a year apart. December of 2020, Israel drove to Augusta/Grovetown, GA and knocked and rung my door bell. My husband and I looked on the camera and did not know who it was. He was all built and buffed. I opened the door and asked "hi, how can I help you?" He said, "yes I have a package for you." He pointed around the corner and it was my youngest sister. That was the best earliest Christmas present, the both of them and us spending time together. Israel was going on the family 2021 cruise with us in December. Only God knows. You will be missed Israel Hinton Jr. Take your Rest. Condolences to Aunt Willie Mae Hinton and family. You all are in our prayers. We love you all!❤ From Johnnie Sr & Teresa Pratt Family

My prayers goes out to the family. May you R.I.P my brother. Heaven have gain another 😇. Ms. Mae, Penny, Vickie, Keith & Tony.
My heartfelt prayers and condolences are with the family and friends of such a wonderful man! Word can not describe the hurt I feel learning that 'Hinton' have left us so soon but I know we have gained another Angel. I went to from Fort Hood, Texas from Germany in 1993. I signed into the organization and one of the first Soldiers I met was SPC Hinton. Little did I know, he would be my roommate. I will never forget taking a ride in that white Probe that he always kept spotless (his baby). I later learned he had that same passion about everything he encountered or engaged (room cleanliness, shined boots, starched uniform, clean cut with the slight slope, work ethic.....etc). We haven't talked or seen each other in years but the impact he left on me will always be in my heart (brotherhood for life and beyond)! Gone but will never be forgotten; rest easy battle buddy! Retired Command Sergeant Major Spinks and family!
Please accept our sincere condolences and prayers during this time. Our family has known Isreal and and his family since he was a child at Henry Grove Baptist Church.

I was Mr. Hinton's Freight Dispatcher for the past few months. I communicated with him on a daily bases. Israel was a very respectful and hardworking man. I have nothing but the best to say about him. Even though I never met him face to face my heart is heavy at this time. To the family I say keep your heads up Israel is watching over you and let not your heart be troubled. Live as he did by showing respect to other and having a caring kind disposition to all he talked to in this business. Thank you respectfully, Lisa Mills Owner of Mills United Dispatching
