To the Allen family you have our sincere condolences. Maxter Jr. was a life long friend. For years the Allen's were my neighbors on Godfrey Street in Ansonville.

Mr. Allen was also my principal from 6th grade to 12th grade in Edenton, he was a good man and a good educator. You are in my prayers Tre and family.

To the Family of Mr. Allen, Mr. Maxter Allen was a sweet, kind, gentle and humble Man of God. He loved the lord, his family and his church family. He was like a brother to my husband, Attorney Ronald Foxworth. Maxter Allen good heaet and reputation will be remembered for years to come! I am always proud to say I know Mr. Maxter Allen. When people in my school district,the Public Schools of Robeson County says, I remember Mr. Allen from being the principal at Townsend Middle School many years ago. I always smile and say yes, thats my husband's 1st cousin, the are like brothers!!!

My fondest memories of Maxter Jr. are when he was considering going into the Ministry/ he loved to talk about the Bible and the goodness of the Lord!😊 For many years he would send me daily Christian Meditations on my phone! I want to share the last memory I have of my brother with all of you that knew, respected and loved him. At our Moms funeral last April, June arrived and was viewing Mom in her casket. I could tell by his look that he did not recognize her. His eyes were just looking from one person to another. When it was time to seat him, he walked over to me. I heard him say, "That's my Mom." I took his hand and he said, "You are my Mom." We held hands for the remainder of the service and he never said anything to me again. That was truly a blessing from God and I will cherish it forever.

The pink candle represents my daughter, Kathryn who loved her Uncle June and preceded him in death on August 6, 2008.

My condolences to the family of Mr. Allen. Mr. Allen was my principal from 6th grade through 12th grade with Edenton Chowan school system. One memory I will always hold dear to my heart was when my mother passed away during my 6th grade year. Mr. Allen was there at the funeral to show support. He constantly checked on me throughout my years in school. He was a wonderful person that will truly be missed.
