Michael and I shared a very special bond together, our oldest son Davin. Michael was a true friend and always expressed how proud he was of the young man Davin had become and how proud he was of me for doing such a good job with him. We had many conversations about spirituality, things that were going on in his life and mine, but most importantly, he wanted to one day have all his children around him together. He was so encouraging and always found a way to make me laugh. From me to you dear friend, sleep in peace. Love you, Melody
To the POLK,LISENBY and JONES families: I've been a part of your family for many years, and with pleasure had come to know this amazing family. I share your grief. I've spent nights in some of your homes and got to know your children very well. Betty, your son Michael was one of those. He was a bright light that lit up the room whenever he walked in. He was smart, funny and always well mannered, and most of all, he loved his family. I am grateful to have known such a wonderful young man! He will be missed, but never forgotten. With my deepest sympathy.. Your friend: Sharon Ledbetter
