Ms. Irma Jean McBride Tillman, the daughter of the late Hattie Rosalie McBride and the late Lacy Hunter was born July 11, 1952 in Anson County, NC. She departed this beautiful life, Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Atrium Health-Union in Monroe, NC.

She attended West Deep Creek School, Wadesboro, NC and graduated from Bowman Senior High School-The Class of 1971.
She was employed by Dawson Plant II as a Quality Control Auditor for many years. Irma enjoyed talking junk, in the name of LOVE. She never met a stranger. To know her was to love her. She enjoyed life and found joy in making others laugh.

A host of nieces and nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
The Homegoing Services were held on Sunday, July 25, 2021, 1:30pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment followed in the Family plot of Pleasant Hill AME Zion Church Cemetery, Wadesboro, North Carolina.
In compliance with CDC guidelines, face mask/face coverings are required when visiting the facility and during the viewing, visitation and funeral services.
I am saddened to learn this news! Irma Jean was one of my favorite people and we could (and often did) talk for hours. She had her ways like all of us, but I loved her dearly. May God rest her soul and fill her family, friends, church and former coworkers with peace through memories of happier times! Live, hugs, prayers and positive thoughts for all concerned!
