She departed this on August 13, 2021 in Clearwater, FL.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Jones, parents, four siblings (Richard, William, and Roosevelt Briggs, and Virgie Wilson). Four children Joyce Anderson, Albert Anderson, Iletha Pitts, and Dorothy McGahee)
