Ricky E. Moore was born on February 10, 1964, in Tuskegee, Alabama to Willie Moore and Mary Moore.
He graduated from Countryside High School. Ricky was inducted into the Babe Ruth Hall of Fame. He was an avid sports player playing baseball, football and basketball.
Ricky E. Moore departed this life on June 5, 2025, in Panama City, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Moore, brother, Samson Lamar, Jr., maternal grandparents, Alfred Johnson and Iyce Johnson and paternal grandparents, Oscar Austin, Sr. and Willie Lee Austin.

My uncle had a love for basketball that went beyond the court. But just as legendary as his jump shot was his appreciation for a good home-cooked meal. My grandma always had something on the stove. He was a proud son of Safety Harbor, Florida. He'll be remembered not just for what he loved, but for the presence he left behind. We love you and will miss you!

I send my deepest condolences to Ricky Moore family and friends. We were the class of 82 different high schools. Ricky has always been a nice guy and he loved my son's grandmother iced tea at C & C restaurant. Mrs. Clara was the only person who would get at Ricky and he would smile and say okay Mrs C. You will forever be remembered by many.
