Larry always made sure everyone was included and he was always there for every one , Larry made you feel genuinely loved . I don't know one person who doesn't love the guy . He would make me laugh everyday he was really a humble and authentic person , always cheered for his freinds and listened when someone had a problem . he had the best smile and his positive effect on everyone he met really was a blessing . I have so many memories with the guy and I will never forget the loyalty and brother hood I was lucky enough to have with him . I feel so and grateful for knowing Larry and we really lost a amazing person . I'm gonna miss him but I am also aware of how much he missed his mother and loved his father and now he is reunited with them and that makes it me happy and at peace . Larry was a most genuine, gentle, kindest man I've come to meet. We worked together for years and he created such positive environment. I will truly miss him and I wish his family all the love and support through this difficult time.
May you all find strength in your memories. When you think of Larry share in your heart something that makes you smile. Love is very powerful!
Larry was a good friend of my son, Chuy. I met him about 10 years ago. He was a beautiful person that had a good heart! He always had me laughing. I do remember one time, he was getting ready for an interview and I was around, he wanted me to hear his responses for the interview. He was not quite confident but he was awesome! I told him was great , after him making me listen to it 2-3 times. I think it put him at ease when I told him, he was perfect! He got the job and I was happy for him. Larry will be missed, and remembered with a lot of funny and good memories, by a lot of friends and myself, he had here in Washington. Rest in peace Larry❤️ my condolences to the family and loved ones . Lawanda Contreras
Im Rachel, Larry's youngest sister, and I'm honoured to have the opportunity to share the version of Larry that I grew to appreciate.Throughout his life, he wore many hats - a loving son, a devoted brother, a reliable friend, and a doting uncle. In each role, he excelled, pouring his heart and soul into nurturing the relationships that meant so much to him. His love was boundless, encompassing not only his family but extending to friends and even strangers. Grief is a weird thing. I never experienced something that literally took my voice away. My oldest brother texted & told me my brother was gone & I called my sister. When she answered... I literally couldn't tell her our brother just died. I tried to talk & words wouldn't come out. In a world of toxic masculinity and dangerous bigotry, he exuded a calm compassion and warmth for everyone around him. He had a forgiving heart , ALWAYS apologized and never held on to grudges. Larry made sure to always say "I LOVE YOU" whenever he would see me. I loved the way he came in hot and late to family dinners. I would joke to him about it. I'd say "Larry you pop up out of nowhere, then I turn around and you're gone. You must be super man?" And he would laugh and say he had to go save the world. Larry was always the life of the party. I loved the way you cared for me, brother. It's the part I am going to miss the most. As I conclude, I find solace in the thought that his spirit lives on, in the love that binds us, in the memories we cherish, and in the lives that have been touched by his presence. May his soul rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love and light that he so generously bestowed upon us all. John 11:25 💔
I'm so very sorry for your loss.. He was such an amazing person always willing to help others and doing with a smile on his face. He'll be greatly missed..
Every time I think of Larry I picture his smile and laughter, it was so contagious. He would literally go above and beyond for people, once there was a client who didn't have enough to pay he prepaid phone and Larry helped him, I asked him why he did that almost a little upset and he said the person was a good man and needed help, his response immediately softened my heart. I remember even though Larry lived so close to work, he would often come in late, but because everyone loved him, we would cover or who knows what the others would say lol because a day without Larry is just simply not the same. You are greatly missed Larry, I know we all learned so much from you.
We are praying for strength in the lord on behalf of the Lucas family and keep the faith that God will see us through this tough time in our lives
