Eva Mae Solomon was born August 24, 1931 to Roosevelt and Cassie Mae Solomon in Vernon, Florida. The family moved to Lynn Haven, Florida and later to Fort Pierce, Florida. Eva was employed at Sunrise Canning Company of Fort Pierce. Upon the canary closing, Eva moved to Lakeland, Florida where she worked at BJ’s Shrimp Packing Company. Eva attended Allen Chapel AME Church after returning back to Fort Pierce in 1994 until her health began to fail. Eva loved fishing, both saltwater and freshwater. She was also a good cook.
On Tuesday, March 14, 2023, our Heavenly Father called Eva from labor to reward. She left a beautiful memory that will never grow old. Eva was preceded in death by her parents Roosevelt and Cassie Mae Solomon, sisters; Theresa Martin, Margarie Fishburne and Dorothy Savage, brothers; Napoleon Solomon and R.E. Solomon and daughter-in-law Mamie Wright.
Left to cherish her precious memories is her son, Toney L. Wright, Sr. of Augusta, GA; grandchildren, Ashley Delance Wright of North Carolina, Toney (Tia) Wright of Covington, GA, Rodney (Toya) Wright of Covington, GA; great grandchildren, Ashley Delance Wright, Jr. of North Carolina and Taquesta (Nick) Andrews of Tallahassee, FL; a very supportive niece, Jacqueline Lynn Solomon of Fort Pierce, FL; and a host of other loving family members and friends who will cherish her memories. A special thanks to Sylvia and Orlando Reed for their support.

With deepest sympathy to you Toney and gtandkids. So sorry we will not be able to make it but our thoughts and prayers are with you. Your mom was an aunt to me. Just for laughs, "Ira had she and I running from behind Minnie's a many times'. Keep the faith and this too shall pass. Love you!!
Grandma was truly one of a kind. She held a very special role in our lives, providing guidance and support as a parent, imparting wisdom as a teacher, and sharing joy and laughter as a best friend. As we navigate these testing times, we take solace in our prayers for God's blessings and mercy upon us all, and for Grandma Eva Mae's soul to rest in eternal peace. We cherish and celebrate her memory with love, forever grateful for the indelible footprint that she has left upon our hearts. With love, Asheley Delance Wright, Sr.; Ashely DeLance Wright, Jr.
