My heartfelt condolences to the entire circle of family and friends. May Mrs. Callie Johnson live on in Paradise. She was one of the mothers of the old neighborhood in Seale/Lato Alabama. Such a sweet, spirited woman of God.
Mrs Callie Johnson was a kind precious soul gone to be with lord. She will be missed by all who knew her. She always had a smile to those she met. She will be missed.
To the family of Callie, on behalf of Lula, Phillipians chapter 4 verse 7 I pray that the peace of GOD which passes all understanding will keep your hearts and mind.
Callie Johnson is one of the many moms whose shoulders I've stood on to make me the successful woman that I am today. This has been through Parent/Teachers Association and after school extracurricular activities, church programs participation including Sunday School and just loving on us community children.
Last I saw her was when she helped me with a Juneteenth project that I was working on, gathering information about Black Negro Baseball Leagues. She just happened to have a group photo of the Cottonton Team which, (Glory be to God) included my dad as a member of the team! She brought it to her Dr. Appt. Where I met her and took a photo copy of her photo. My Juneteenth Committee blew up the photo and put it on Canvass for display at Juneteenth Celebration in Lansing, MI. Juneteenth is now a national holiday. The canvass is now in my house, one of the only two photos that I have of my dad. I shall never forget her for that. Her Legacy shall live on forever!
May God grant her loved ones with the grace, strength and love needed to get through this time of bereavement, in Jesus Name! 🙏🏽❤️🎉
