Jimmy entered into Holy matrimony with his beautiful bride Rosie Mae Alfred in 1969. Upon his death they were blessed in marriage for 53 years. Unto this union three children were born Barbara Ann, Jimmy, Jr. and Tracy Denise, whom they raised in Falls Church, VA.

Jimmy’s friends and family will remember him for his good-natured personality, his sense of humor, and his willingness to always help those in need.
After retiring in 2007, Jimmy and Rosie relocated to Phenix City, AL. Upon his return, he reconnected with his childhood church. Jimmy confessed to Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 2007 at Cool Spring Baptist Church, and dedicated his life to Christ.
