Johnnie Mae (mom) I will miss you dearly. You didn't give me the gift of Life but Life gave me the gift of you. At age 8 years old when I move to Alabama with my father Johnny L Mellion Sr after my brother passed away Roosevelt Mellion. It was hard at first. I met you later and had the opportunity to stay over at your house. I remembered the day I asked you can I call you mom Johnnie Mae and you said yes. You helped my grandparents raised me. You took me to church and always introduced me as your daughter. My mother the late Pollie Bee Lias (Smith) always told me I had 2 mom. Mom thank you for loving me as one of your daughters.
