Odessa Cox, 67, of Phenix City, AL passed on Friday, August 8, 2025 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. EST, Friday, August 15, 2025 at St. Luke AME Church, 2388 CR 106, Midway, AL with Rev. Cynthia Johnson, Pastor, officiating. Burial to follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. There is no public viewing.

I never for got you when we was in high School
My heart is deeply broken as I say goodbye to my beloved Auntie Dessa, a woman who was like a mother to me. You loved me as your own and cared deeply for me and my children. I thank God for the blessing of your life and the countless ways you showed me what unconditional love looks like. Though I will miss you more than words can say, I take comfort in knowing you are now at peace in the arms of the Lord, where there is no pain or sorrow, only joy everlasting.
