On this one of the saddest days I've known in a very long time I just want to say first that I pray peace for the sweet kind hearted children Sandra left behind. I also pray for her husband and the family of hers that I did not know well. For Sandra Leatherwood ...I can wrap up my memory of her and two words. " Southern Class " this hard-working example of love and resilience is a woman who is all over my early life memories. I spent many summers in her home visiting with my cousins, The home she made was very warm welcoming and even more so when she was in it. She could hold a conversation with you for hours chewing gum ever so girly with her legs crossed the whole time staying completely engaged giving you her undivided attention. Despite hardships in life she always seemed in good spirits whenever I heard her speak. I pray for her grandkids that they hang onto the memory of this beautiful woman and Carr y on the good that she i'm poured into their lives until they get to see her again to all of her friends and family I send so much love I'm so sorry I couldn't be there.

Whenever we were all together she had such a joy about herself and a huge smile that always made everyone feel good. She will be so missed by all who knew and loved her.
