On my commute to work this morning, at a stoplight, I looked over and saw the Trice Funeral Home hearse that was transporting Mr. Jones to his Celebration of Life service in Raleigh and saw the flag draped over the coffin. I immediately saluted him and thanked him for his dedicated service whatever that may have been as I did not know at the time. It fell on my heart immediately to find his obituary and read about this precious man. Although I did not know Mr. Jones or the family, my thoughts and prayers are with you all today. May God provide you peace and comfort in the days ahead. TFranks

To simply say I'm sorry just doesn't seem to be Enough to adequately express my heart felt sympathy. Night has fallen on your heart and cast a shadow long! your world is changed forever you can't believe dear. He is gone. You lost a family member who was loved like all the rest; A loyal,loving companion who always gave his best. But time will heal your broken heart though it may take a while; sweet memories will replace the loss you'll think of Him and smile. He's crossed the Rainbow Bridge, my family and will never be alone; He's care free and contented now in his new celestial home.

Mr. Melvin was a singer. He loved to sing, "If I could touch the hem of his garment," and enjoyed hearing him sing it. To the Jones Family, "weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning. Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal." Mr. Melvin have now touch the hem of his garment and have been made whole again. May God Bless each of you.
