When I heard the news of Delise's passing, I was in shock. I had just talked to her a few days prior. Delise touched so many lives, including mine. I will forever remember her. She was a vibrant woman with so much life to give, and like a work mom or sister. We all miss you boss. I send sympathy to your family and everyone who knew you. Thank you for being part of my life.

Delise was my first friend. We met in 1980. We shared every childhood memory, teenage drama, parenting tips, and everything in between for the last 44 years. She was my biggest cheerleader and someone who could make me laugh even when I was sad. To say I will miss her is an understatement. I was stationed at the MEPS in Philadelphia December 1993 through December 1996. It was there that I met Delise! We were both Mothers to young boys and we would talk frequently about our joys and trials! She was a dedicated worker and a very great person to work with! Even though we lost touch when I left Philly off to my next duty station, I never forgot my friends in Philly! They were my family and Delise was a huge part of that family! My condolences and prayers to her family!

I met Delise thru our mutual hairstylist our appointments were on Thursdays. Delise, our hairstylist and I went out to lunch earlier in the year and had planned on another luncheon when we met again on our Thursday appointments which would have been last Thursday.
