Mr. Clyde Gabriel Grady, (Pee-Wee) was born on December 18, 1961, in Jacksonville, FL. He was the oldest son of the late Willie and Naomi Grady. He departed this life on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the Upson Regional Medical Center in Thomaston, GA.

Clyde was educated in the Barnesville Public School District and graduated from Lamar County Comprehensive High School. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Barnesville, Georgia.

Clyde met Mrs. Margueriete Grady and after winning over her heart, they were joined in holy matrimony on June 29,1997. Clyde and Margueriete took their vows seriously and remained together through sickness and health. He loved his wife and family and would do anything for them.

To provide for his family, he was employed by Continental Tire and the Lamar County School System for many years until he retired.

During his leisure time, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved fishing, cutting grass with his new lawn mower, watching sports, listening to music and cooking on the grill with his favorite uncle Larry (Terry) Akins and his special cousins, Monalisa and Anthony White.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 36 years, Margueriete Grady; one son, Mr. Santonio (Marquita)
Grady; two bonus sons, Victor (Sharon) Gotell and Bryce Smith of Barnesville, GA; two daughters, Ms. Dorothy Virden and Ms. Chiquita Virden of Barnesville, GA; one sister, Ms. Lashanda Grady; two brothers, Thomas (Connie) Grady of Tavares, FL and David Rutland of Barnesville, GA; one brother-in-law, Clyde Stanley (Barbara) Lyons of Ringgold, GA; five grandchildren, Journi, San'Nesia, Ariyona, Brooklyn, Ja'Niya and Giannis who loved calling him "Papa" two aunts, Lois (Larry) Akins of Barnesville, GA and Mae (Arnold) Kemp of Detroit, MI; four uncles, Frank Rutland and Albert (Linda) Rutland of Barnesville, GA, John Rutland of Tampa, FL and Alan (Corrine) Rutland of New Jersey; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and special friends: Darryl Davis, Johnathan Crawford, Tommy Hughes, Michael Byrd, Josephine Goggins, Arthur Traylor, Andrew Byrd and Rudy Jackson.
