Obituary For Doris Louise Little

Ms. Doris Louise Little was born on February 18, 1968, in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia, to the late Mrs. Mattie Mae Walker Little and the late Mr. George Washington Little.

She was educated in the public schools of Upson County and attended Upson High School. As a young adult, she found employment at Martha Mills and later at Aldora Mills, where she worked diligently to provide for her family. Doris was the devoted mother of two children, Candace and Kentravis, and she dedicated herself to their care and well-being.

Doris dedicated her life to Jehovah. She loved attending meetings at the Kingdom Hall, studying God’s Word, and sharing the good news of God’s Kingdom with others. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she found joy in helping others learn about Jehovah and His promises.

During her leisure time, Doris enjoyed singing, dancing, listening to old-school music, and watching her favorite television shows, including The King of Queens, The Jeffersons, Little House on the Prairie, and Gunsmoke. She especially enjoyed talking on the phone with her sister, Christine and niece, Angie B. Most importantly, she loved her family and treasured every opportunity to spend time with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother-in-law, Cornelious Ivey, her nephew, Reginald Reviere and a dear friend, Donnie Lockhart.

On Friday, June 12, 2026, Doris fell asleep in death. She leaves to cherish her memory two children: Candace Little and Kentravis Little, both of Thomaston, GA; four sisters: Mrs. Christine Ivey, Ms. Roberta Little and Ms. Gloria Little, all of Thomaston, GA and Mrs. Tracy Baker of Barnesville, GA; one brother, Mr. George Little (Jermica Napier) of Thomaston, GA; one uncle, Mr. Fred Rogers; four aunts: Ms. Minnie Little, Mrs. Georgia Mae Green and Mrs. Lillie Rogers, all of Thomaston, GA and Mrs. Rosa Lee Lunday of Homestead, FL; a cousin who was more like a sister, Ms. Robin Little; three devoted friends: Mr. Terry Owens and Mr. Kenneth Reid, both of Griffin, GA and Ms. Leslie Culpepper of Thomaston, GA; fifteen nieces and nephews: Vester Reviere, Jr., Martinez Little, Latisha Reviere, Jerel Ivey, Mashele Little, Angela Burnette, Macy Reviere, Gavion Baker, Ga’Breesha Baker, Jarderis Little, Ashley Reviere, Alexis Little, Ge’Onna Baker, Miguel Little, and Jor’Leyah Little; along with a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
