Evangelist Sara Reviere was born on May 28, 1957, in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia, to the late Mrs. Virginia Harvey Reviere and the late Mr. Bennie Reviere, Sr. She was educated in the public schools of Upson County and graduated from Upson High School. After high school, she enrolled in the nursing program at Flint Tech, where she earned her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification.
Sara was employed for many years at Providence Nursing Home, where she faithfully served as an LPN, providing care and compassion to those in need.
She joined Wings of Faith Holiness Church in Griffin, where she was ordained as an evangelist and served faithfully for many years. She later joined Mount Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Cedric Thomas.
Sara loved going to church and studying the Word of God. Her deep love for God led her to become an evangelist. She was a writer, a Bible scholar, and a devoted teacher and preacher of God’s Word. Known as a prayer warrior, she used her gift faithfully, always giving God the glory. Above all, she kept God first in her life. Next to her faith, her family, especially her grandchildren, were the center of her world.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Mr. Chester Reviere and Mr. Bennie Reviere, Jr.
On Sunday, April 26, 2026, the Lord looked down and saw His daughter in distress. He whispered her name and called her home to rest. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Mr. Markeith (Shamekia) Reviere of Zebulon, GA, and Mr. Joshua (Elicha) Sanders of Thomaston, GA; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Susie Gant, Mrs. Earnestine Wilson, and Mrs. Emma Mae Andrews, all of Thomaston, GA, and Mrs. Mary Johnson of East Orange, NJ; five brothers, Mr. Frank Reviere, Mr. Vester Reviere, Mr. Bennie Lee Reviere, Jr., and Mr. Danny Reviere, all of Thomaston, GA, and Mr. Robert Lee Reviere of Detroit, MI; three aunts, Mrs. Lillie Mae Cunningham and Mrs. Darlene Draine, both of Thomaston, GA, and Mrs. Martha (Charlie) Trice of Columbus, GA; two very special friends, Mrs. Jimmie Lee Pennyman of Yatesville, GA, and Mrs. Emma Searcy of Thomaston, GA; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
