Michael Todd Maddox, born on October 6, 1962, in Griffin, Georgia, peacefully passed away on January 1, 2025. He was the beloved son of the late Mr. Bennie James Maddox Sr. and Mrs. Mattie Lou West Butler. Michael was a proud graduate of Lamar County Comprehensive High School, where he received his education through the Lamar County School System. His love for life was reflected in his passion for cooking, and he was known for his culinary skills. Michael worked at Pam's Garden Patch as a cook, where he not only delighted in preparing meals but also enjoyed greeting and interacting with all who dined at the restaurant. His warm and kind hearted nature made him a beloved figure to everyone who knew him. He leaves behind cherished memories to his family, including his daughter, Mrs. April (Mussolini) Settles of Griffin; his son, Mr. Maurice Johnson of Barnesville; one sister, Mrs. Vivian (James) Parker of Barnesville; and one brother, Mr. Bennie J. Maddox Jr. of Barnesville. He is also survived by his aunts, Ms. Joanne (Ricky) Foster and Ms. Emma Lyons, both of Griffin, and his uncle, Mr. Wilbert West of Griffin. In addition, Michael is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all of whom will hold his memory close to their hearts. Michael's warm spirit, kind soul, and love for his family will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory be a blessing to those he leaves behind.
