Obituary For Miss. Addie Mae Warner

Mrs. Addie Mae Warner passed on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 12:00 Noon until 4:30 P.M. at Trice Funeral Home . Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Trice Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery Trice Funeral Home of Thomaston is in charge of all arrangements. Please keep the Warner family in prayer. Miss Addie Mae Warner, more affectionately known as “Plump” was born on October 16, 1937, to the late Mrs. Ludie Mae Evans Warner and the late Mr. Emmett Franklin Warner in Concord, Pike County, GA. At an early age she attended Monroe Worthy School in Thomaston, Upson County, GA. She joined the Roberts Chapel United Methodist Church in Concord, GA. She was a faithful member until her health failed. Plump worked for Dr. D. W. Jones, Sr. and Providence Nursing Home. After doing her duties of caring for others, she was employed with Martha Mills and retired after working for over twenty-five years. Plump was blessed with a large and loving family. She always made her family a top priority. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. Plump enjoyed fishing, doing puzzles, using her CC snuff, and dancing to her favorite song, “Last Two Dollars.” She possessed a joyful spirit and enjoyed life. Plump was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Ms. Celess “Penny” King; and two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Gray and Ms. Imogene Reeves. On Thursday, June 16, 2022, the Lord called her name. She answered the call and went to her eternal home. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Plump leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Mr. Stanley Jerome Warner and Mr. Todd (Linda) Warner both of Thomaston, GA; four grandchildren, Ms. Kesha King, Ms. Shanna Ellerbee, Ms. Tayla King all of Thomaston, GA and Mr. Terrence Ellerbee of Tupelo, MS; five great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Christine Brown of Thomaston, GA and Mrs. Joanne Worthy of Melbourne, FL; a niece who was more like a daughter, Mrs. Pamela (Reginald )Warren of Hampton, GA; other nieces and nephews include, Ms. Esther White of Griffin, GA, Ms. Dorothy Reeves of LaGrange, GA, Mrs. Patricia Strickland, Mrs. Geraldine Boyd, Mrs. Kimbley (Richard) Gray, Mr. Johnny Reeves, Jr. and Mr. Jacky Ray Reeves all of Thomaston, GA; Miss Marcia Worthy of Charlotte, NC, and Mr. Michael Warner of Melbourne, FL; two devoted friends, Mrs. Sallie Respress and Mrs. Bessie Funerburke both of Thomaston, GA; and a host of great nieces and great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services were held Wednesday, June 22, 2022 1:00 P.M. George E. Trice Jr. Memorial Chapel Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery
