Obituary For Mr. Dennis Ray Buffin

Mr. Dennis Ray Buffin was born on March 23, 1953, to the late Mrs. Maudell Atwater Buffin and the late Mr. Willie C. Buffin in Thomaston, Upson County, GA.

He was educated in the public schools of Upson County.

During his early manhood, he worked several jobs. He was lastly employed by Walmart.

He was the father of one daughter, Jasmine Buffin, with whom he shared his life. He loved his family and spending time with them. He was a faithful member of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

During his leisure time, he enjoyed working, watching movies, especially action movies, watching westerns, and doing word searches and puzzles.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Patricia Ann Buffin and Dorothy Atwater Harris. On Friday, January 2, 2026, he entered into rest.

He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Ms. Jasmine Buffin of Jonesboro, GA; one sister, Ms. Sharon Buffin of Thomaston, GA; two brothers, Mr. Willie Gene Buffin and Mr. Robert Walker, both of Thomaston, GA; nieces and nephews include: Mr. Ricky Harris of McDonough, GA, Mr. Carlos Buffin of AL, Ms. Tomesha Jordan of Stockbridge, GA, Ms. Stacy Atwater of Jacksonville, FL, Mr. Antonio Grantling of Newnan, GA and Mr. Laquavion Robinson and Fredrick (Candace Jackson) Atwater, all of Thomaston, GA; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
