Obituary For Mr. Donald Jerome Walker

Mr. Donald Jerome Walker was born on September 8, 1971, in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia, to the late Mrs. Louise Walton Walker and Mr. Willie Walker.

He received his education in the public schools of Upson County. As a young man, he was employed as a truck driver with Craft Trucking Company. Donald loved his job and enjoyed the freedom of being on the road. He took pride in his work and appreciated the opportunities his career provided.

During his leisure time, Donald enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. He also loved talking and spending time with others, whether in person or on the phone. His friendly nature and gift for conversation made it easy for him to connect with people and build lasting relationships.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Louise Walton Walker, one sister, Lisa Boyington and one brother, Douglas Edward Walker.

On Monday, May 25, 2026, the Lord called his name. He answered the call, and his spirit returned to the Heavenly Father.

He leaves to cherish his memory his father, Mr. Willie (Eunice) Walker of Thomaston, GA; one son, Dontavious Walker of Thomaston, GA; sisters and brothers, Ms. Denise Walker, Ms. Chandra Regina Walker, Mr. Michael Allen (Sonja) Walker and Mr. Richard Daniel, III, all of Thomaston, GA, Mr. Marcus Anthony (Dorothy) Walker of Oglethorpe, GA; Mr. Richard (Ina) Daniel, Jr. and Mr. Johnny Frank (Brenda) Dixon, all of Jacksonville, FL; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
