Obituary For Mr. Marvin Lewis Walker

Marvin Lewis Walker was born on August 12, 1959, to the late Lelia Bell Davison Walker and the Solomon Walker, Sr. He attended Upson High School and furthered his education at Flint River Technical School. He was employed by the City of Thomaston Fire Department for 34 years. He met and married Ms. Shelia Furlow Walker on August 30, 1980. To this union four children was born. In his leisure time he enjoyed watching wrestling, working out, playing basketball and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Solomon Walker, Jr., and Norris Walker; a sister: Patricia Walker. His memory will always be cherished by his wife, Mrs. Shelia F. Walker of Thomaston, GA; four: children; Mr. Manuel Walker, Mr. Malcolm Walker, Ms. Whitney Walker, and Ms. Tashiuna Walker all of Thomaston, GA; one grandson; Karter Walker; three brothers: Mr. Willie James Walker, Mr. Tony (Elaine) Walker, and Mr. Emory (Brenda) Woodard of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters: Ms. Earnestine Walker of Thomaston, GA and Mrs. Vickey (Garfon) Jung of Barnesville, GA; mother-in-law: Mrs. Laurine Thornton; sisters-in-law: Ms. Debra Thornton, Mrs. Janice Strickland, Ms. Gloria Ann Thornton and Mrs. Robyn Walker all of Thomaston, GA; brothers-in-law: Mr. Jermaine (Lakesha) Thornton and Mr. Robert ( Tamar) Brice of McDonough, GA: two special nephews: Braden Thornton and Handson Johnson a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
