Obituary For Mr. Michael Walker

Mr. Michael Burnell Walker, more affectionately known as “Pelo,” was born January 7, 1980, to Ms. Cynthia Parker and Mr. Robert L. Walker in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia. He attended public school in the Upson County School System and graduated from Upson Lee High School.

Michael was employed on several jobs during his lifetime. His last job included driving the taxi or Mimbs Cab Service.

Michael possessed a quiet and humble spirit. He would help anyone in need. He was an all around good person. During his leisure time, he enjoyed reading, singing, listening to music, cooking, rapping, and spending time with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved maternal grandmother, Mrs. Sara Parker; uncles, Mr. Bruce Parker, Mr. Horace Parker and M. Eugene Parker. On Thursday, August 10, 2023, the Lord call his name. He answered the call, and his spirit took flight and returned to the father. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Michael leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Ms. Cynthia Parker; father, Mr. Robert Walker; one son, My'Qualon Walker all of Thomaston, GA; one sister, Ms. Marcy Williams of Griffin, GA; one brother, Mr. Jeffery Williams of Thomaston, GA; aunts and uncles include, Mrs. Laverne Flowers, Mrs. Laurin Thornton, Mrs. Eleve (Lonnie) Wilder, Mr. Larry (Clementine) Parker, Mr. Harry Parker, Ms. Mary Ann Walker Davis, Mr. Dennis Buffin, Ms. Annie M. Furlow of Cleveland, OH; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
