Obituary For Mr. Thomas L. Neal Jones

Mr. Thomas L. Neal Jones was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Jones on October 21, 1949, in Barnesville, GA. He attended Booker High School in Lamar County and was a graduate of the Class of l961.

He was a member of Towaliga County Line Baptist Church where he enjoyed the preaching and teaching of the Word of God. Thomas was employed at Aldora Mills and JCPenney until retirement.

On March 4, 1969, he was joined in marriage to Ms. Bernice Collier. They shared 56 wonderful years together until his passing on Saturday, December 20, 2025.

His beautiful life story will be cherished forever by Mrs. Bernice Jones, his devoted wife; his devoted son, Mr. Thomas (Dale) Jones Jr. of Barnesville, GA; four beautiful grandchildren: Talecia (Ra’Shawn) Jones, Jalecia (Rentaveon) King, Jalencia Brown and Valerie Sullivan all of Barnesville, GA; his five great-grandchildren: Aubree King, Braleigh King, Cashton King, Rhileigh King, and Ashawnis Jones all of Barnesville and Pooler, GA; his beloved brother, Mr. John Will (Mary Ann) Jones of Barnesville, GA and his brother-in-law, Mr. Andrew (Esther) Rutherford of Thomaston, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
