Mr. Timothy “Tim” Tyrone Hughley was born on July 24, 1968, in Monroe County, Georgia, to the late Mr. George Andrew Hughley and the late Mrs. Frances Gennelle H. Williams.
He was also preceded in death by his beloved grandson, Ivan Lukas Tucker.
Tim received his education through the Lamar County School System and later obtained certification in firefighter training.
He was employed with Utility Pole Technology in Culloden, Georgia, where he worked for approximately ten years. He later continued his career with Georgia Power at Plant Scherer in Juliette, Georgia.
Tim enjoyed many hobbies and interests, including Kung Fu fighting, race cars, and spending time with family and friends. Above all, he loved his family deeply and unconditionally. He was known for his kind spirit, his love of laughter, and the special bond he shared with those closest to him.
On June 17, 2026, Timothy peacefully departed this life and entered eternal rest.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children: Labresha Miles of Barnesville, GA; Vontae (Amber) Collier of Barnesville, GA; Jimecia Barnes of Hampton, GA; and Brianna (Elisha) Tucker of Barnesville, GA. He also leaves behind five beloved grandchildren: Aiden Miles, Zaina Miles, Jaden Collier, Rhyleigh Barnes, and Xaiven Collier.
Tim was a proud godfather to Janila Kelley, who held a special place in his heart.
He is also survived by his siblings: Andrew (Betty) Hughley, James Hughley, Enrico (Tasha) Taylor, and Crystal (Jimmy) Perdue.
The family extends special appreciation to his sister, Crystal Perdue, for her loving care and devotion as his caregiver, and to her husband, Jimmy Perdue, for his unwavering love and support during Tim’s time of need. They also express heartfelt gratitude to his father, Bobby Williams for the love, companionship, support, and comfort he provided while sharing a home with Tim during his illness.
The family would also like to extend sincere appreciation to his uncle, Steve Hamm, for the many acts of kindness, love, and support he shared throughout Tim’s life. Your presence and dedication will always be remembered and deeply appreciated.
Tim also leaves a special friend, Norman Dixson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
