Mr. Wilber Louis Brown Jr. was born on February 23, 1960, in Barnesville, Lamar County, Georgia, to the late Mr. Wilber Louis Brown Sr., affectionately known as “Shoebox,” and Mrs. Mary Ann Glover Brown.
Wilber received his education through the Lamar County Public School System and was a proud graduate of Lamar County Comprehensive High School. After graduation, he chose to serve his country by joining the United States Marine Corps. Following his service, Wilber returned home to Barnesville, where he continued to build his life among family and friends.
Known for his big heart and warm personality, Wilber truly never met a stranger. He was devoted to his family and cherished those around him deeply. Though life brought its share of challenges, Wilber faced each one with courage and determination. His resilience and work ethic led him to a position at Continental Tire, where he worked faithfully as a forklift driver until his health began to decline.
Wilber was preceded in death by his daughter, Munteshia Dunquita Brown, and his nephew, Michael Few.
On March 22, Wilber peacefully entered eternity.
He leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories in the hearts of his family: his sons, Mr. Hosea Terrilli Brown of Jonesboro and Mr. Wilber L. Brown III (Bianca Johnson) of Stonecrest; the mother of his children, Ms. Stephanie M. Geiger of Jonesboro, GA; daughters he loved as his own, Contrina Wilson, Jalisha Wilson, and April Wilson; and a host of beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Munquez James (Eldriana Eady), Keaja Ponder, Skye Brown, Ashton Morris, Brooke James, Keloni James, Zaire James, Tydasha Wilson, Latwain Ray, Jazavious Wilson, Adreyanna Wilson, Aziya Wilson, and Jonathan Wilson.
Also left to treasure his memory are his sister, Ms. Donna Few (Demetrius Love); his loving aunt, Ms. Charlene Smith (Johnny); and his uncle, Mr. Hugh (LaVonne) Smith, all of Barnesville. He will also be lovingly remembered by Marika Harp, Prince McGinty, George Few Jr., Latasha Few, Jeremiah Few, Zacchaeus Few, and Nicole Few—all of whom shared countless unforgettable moments with Wilber.
Wilber Louis Brown Jr. will be remembered as a man of strength, heart, and perseverance—a faithful Marine, a proud father, and a friend to many. His spirit will continue to live on through the love he gave and the memories he created.
Send flowers to the service of Mr. Wilber Louis Brown Jr.

You taught me how to drive when everyone else was scared to. I was moving the wheel side to side like I saw in the movies. You looked at me and said you're not supposed to do it like that! 😂 Just keep it steady! Thanks BIL. Gone but not forgotten. Please hug my beautiful niece for me. Tell her she was so loved and is still so missed. You will be also. - Bridget
