Mr. Woodrow Wilson passed on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Trice Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022 2:00 P.M. at Greater Springhill Missionary Baptist Church Bishop LaDamiun Raines, officiating Trice Funeral Home of Barnesville is in charge of all professional services. Mr. Woodrow Wilson was born on May 7, 1966, in Barnesville, Georgia to the late Rosie and Brady Wilson Sr. He graduated from Lamar County High School with the class of 1984. After high school, Woodrow worked as a logger, cutting down and hauling trees and also landscaping. Everybody knows Woodrow’s humorous life and how he always kept everyone laughing and on their toes. That humor will forever be in our hearts.
Woodrow was preceded in death by his brothers Mr. Brady Wilson Jr., Mr. Charlie Wilson, and Mr. Kenneth “Neal Wilson. On August 2, 2022, The Lord called Woodrow’s name to enter the eternal life leaving behind his three children Christopher Williams Sr., Brady (LaRhonda) Wilson, Shakendra Brown of Barnesville, a dear friend Tammy Thurman, six bonus children Clarissa McDowell, Caweisi Lavelle and Jimmie Taylor of Barnesville, Tierney Dumas, Chelsea Norwood, and Chastity Norwood of Jackson, seven sisters Bessie Wilson, Martha Virden, Dianne Wilson, Ethel Wilson, Laura Passmore of Barnesville, Linda (Dexter) Jenkins of Griffin, and Phyllis Wilson of Barnesville, 8 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends. Funeral Services were held Monday, August 8,2022 2:00 P.M. Greater Springhill Missionary Baptist Church Interment Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery
