Obituary For Mr. Yancey Sullivan

Memorial Service for Mr. Yancey “Boo-Tee” Sullivan will be Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., at MG Worthy Gymn, Thomaston, GA 30286. Minister Jennifer Sullivan will do the eulogy.

Yancey Detoion Sullivan Yancey "Boo-Tee" Sullivan was born on July 15, 1969, in Thomaston, Georgia, to the late Autury Sullivan-Parks of Barnesville, Georgia. Yancey received his education through the Upson-Lee School System in Thomaston, Georgia.

Throughout his life, he touched the hearts of many with his vibrant spirit and love for those around him. He was known for his resilient spirit, warm personality, and ability to make those around him smile.

In his spare time, Yancey enjoyed working out, drawing, riding motorcycles, spending time with his dogs, and watching his favorite television shows, Good Times and Martin. To those who knew him best, Boo-Tee was an original gangster at heart—tough, loyal, and unapologetically himself.

Yancey will be remembered for his strength, his love for his family, outgoing personality, and the countless memories he created with one's fortunate enough to have known him.

In his concluding years, he converted and embraced Islam, a faith that became an important part of his life and personal journey.

In the days leading up to his passing, he fell ill and was transported to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, where he peacefully transitioned on July 10, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Autury Sullivan-Parks, stepfather, Charlie Sullivan and his eldest son, Kenderis Sullivan.

He leaves to cherish his legacy, his eight children: Ee-Shee Sullivan, Cortnye Sullivan, Jarvis Farley, Yancey Sullivan Jr., Au'Mon'n Sullivan, E'e-Morea Sullivan, Tieasee Sullivan, and Kammon Sullivan. As well as his beloved grandchildren: Brantsun, Ezavian, Elijah, Zaiden, Tristen, Aiden, Ja'Khylan, Zuri, True, and Luke; two brothers, Marcus Sullivan and Gavin Sullivan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends who will forever treasure the time they shared with him. Although he will be deeply missed, his legacy will continue to live on through his children, grandchildren, family, and friends whose lives were forever enriched by his presence.
