Mrs. April Denise Scott, a beloved matriarch, born on August 27, 1972, to Leroy Andrews and Karen Morgan, Griffin, Georgia. She married the love of her life, Christopher Scott on April 16, 2016.

April was the epitome of strength and grace, navigating life's ups and downs with resilience and determination. She lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family, friends, and community. She loved spending time with the people she loved, Atlanta Falcons, traveling, planning special events, and decorating. She spent a great deal of her time volunteering with the Lamar County Chamber of Commerce and many other organizations. She also served on several different boards and ministries.

April is preceded in death by her mother; sister, Oshavius Maddox; and her brother Kory Maddox.

April leaves in loving memory; her loving husband Christopher Scott; six wonderful children, Michael Jones, Narkeshia Evans, Quadarius (Kaitlin) Smith, Darshevious (Jessica) Smith, Samqueathea Smith, Samneethea Smith; Special Sons Cameron Trice, Anthony Williams Jr. and Jermarcus Johnson; Father Leroy Andrews; Stepfather Thomas Morgan; Two sister Jessica (Fred) Harden, Deandrelle (Carl) Hosley; Sister In Law Teresa (Dr. Arteese Adams); Two brothers Leroy (Malva Smith), Robert Maddo; Ten grandchildren Kyndal Smith, Dailan Evans, Chandler Smith, Tyler Smith, Kingston Smith, Kameron Smith, Javorius Smith, Amarious Smith, Zane Smith, Cason Smith. Special Aunt Lisa (Kelvin) Henderson; Special Uncle Donald (Dorothy) Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; Dear Friends Belinda Penamon, Tomikayona Benton, Jackie Williams, Melissa Clark and many other friends that will miss her wonderful and loving spirit.
