Obituary For Mrs. Evelyn Graddick Webb

Mrs. Evelyn Graddick Webb was born October 23, 1952, to the late Mr. Jordan “Jack” Graddick and the late Ms. Lillian Battle Graddick in Thomaston, Upson County, GA. She was one of eleven children. She was educated in the Upson County School System and graduated from Drake High School with the Class of 1973.

After high school, Evelyn worked many years at the William Carter Company, until her retirement in 2007. On June 7, 2003, she was united in holy matrimony to her long-time love, Mr. William “Jed “Webb; they were married for nineteen years. Their union was blessed with two children, Eric and Patrick. Evelyn loved her family, and she loved to cook for them. Just recently, she and Jed recently held Christmas dinner at their house- she cherished family gatherings. She talked with her siblings every day – they will miss those talks, and they will always remember her affectionate laughter. She loved everyone, and she never met a stranger. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Mildred Graddick Rutherford, Earnestine Graddick Zellener, and Rev. Winfred Graddick. On Tuesday, January 10, 2023, the Lord decided Evelyn’s earthly journey had come to an end. She was called home to her eternal resting place. Evelyn is survived by her devoted husband William Webb of Yatesville, GA; two loving children, Eric D.
