Obituary For Mrs. Lenora Hall

Mrs. Lenora Hall of Barnesville, GA. passed on August 7, 2023.

On Monday, August 7, 2023, our queen, Lenora J. Holloway Hall, gained her heavenly wings and is now our angel.

She was born May 5, 1941, in Lamar County to Jessie Holloway, Jr., and Gladys Watts Holloway. Lenora graduated from Booker T. High School in Lamar County. She received her bachelors degree at Albany State College in Albany, GA, and her master's at Trinity College in Washington D.C.

While attending Albany State she met and fell in love with Frederick George Hall, whom she married December 22, 1963. from this union they have three kids, Deborah, Daryl, and Baby Boy, Fred Jr.

Lenora's accomplishments includes 35 years of teaching in Baltimore as a Physical Education Teacher and finishing at Kennedy Institute in Washington D.C., as a Special Education Teacher.

Lenora's was devoted servant and member in several churches, which included Whites Chapel C.M.E., Mt. Zion United Methodist, Albright United Methodist, and she completed her journey of service back at Whites Chapel C.M.E. where she began.

Also during her life journey, she dedicated member and worker of the Order of the Eastern Star, Ladies Circle of Perfection, Heroine of Jericho, Golden Circle, Daughters of Imperial Court Auxiliary of the A.E.A.O.N.M.S., and the Barnesville NAACP.

left to cherish her beautiful memory is her husband, Frederick G. Hall, Sr, of the home; daughter, Deborah Johnson of Tampa, FL; two sons, Daryl Hall (Pat) of Barnesville, GA, and Frederick Hall Jr., (Tanya) of Barnesville, GA; one brother, James Holloway (Gail) of Barnesville, GA; one sister, Beatrice Davis (James) of Ridge Springs, SC; one aunt, Maude Crawford of Barnesville, GA; ten grandkids and fourteen great-grands; and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
