Mrs. Levora Leann Joyce Miller, more affectionately known as “Pumpkin” and “Suga P,” was born on August 25, 1968, in Belle Glade, Florida, to the late Mrs. Levora Joyce Atwater and the late Mr. Kary Atwater, Sr.
She was raised in Boston, Massachusetts, where she received her early education. During her teenage years, she relocated to Georgia. Levora attended R.E. Lee High School, where she formed meaningful friendships that would last a lifetime.
As she entered adulthood, she began her career as a security guard at the Child Support Office. She later worked at the Thomaston-Upson County Recreation Center, where she assisted the Director of Activities and served the community with dedication and pride.
In 2020, she met the love of her life, Mr. Mark Miller. On May 2, 2020, they were united in holy matrimony, beautifully blending their families into one. Levora was a faithful attendee of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Musella, Georgia.
Levora truly embraced life. In her leisure time, she enjoyed listening to music, fishing, cooking, spending time with family and friends, especially her beloved grandchildren, visiting the casino, taking cruises, and watching sports. She was a devoted fan of the New England Patriots and enjoyed watching basketball. She made every holiday special, filling her home with love, laughter, and the delicious dishes her family always looked forward to.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
On Saturday, February 14, 2026, the Lord gently called her name. She answered peacefully, and her spirit returned to her Heavenly Father.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her devoted husband, Mark Miller of Thomaston, Georgia; her children: Mrs. LaPrincess (Zaviare) of Barnesville, Georgia; Mr. Enrique Mitchell (Kate Trice) of Thomaston, Georgia; Ms. Nysheeme Willis and Ms. Shykeeme Willis, both of Savannah, Georgia; Mr. Shykeem Willis, Kadeem Miller, Jessica Miller and Jamarcus Miller (Amber Boone), all of Thomaston, Georgia; thirteen grandchildren; one sister, Ms. Karen Joyce of Thomaston, Georgia; two brothers, Mr. Kary Atwater, Jr. of Providence, Rhode Island, and Mr. Kavin (Scherlie) Atwater of Hawaii; sister- and brother-in-law: Mrs. Elizabeth (Frank) Howard of McDonough, Georgia, and Mr. Darren Davis of Barnesville, Georgia; aunts and uncles: Ms. Jenine Amos of Thomaston, Georgia; Ms. Shirley Fisher, Mrs. Brownie Irving, Mr. Steve (Lisa) Wilson, Mr. Gary (Lisa) Wilson, Mrs. Jacqueline (Henry) Ansley and Mrs. Stephanie (Robert) Ansley all of Boston, Massachusetts; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
