Linda C. Harris Brown was born on March 3, 1966 in Newark, New Jersey to the parents of Mrs. Dorothy H. Harris and the late Mack Harris, Sr. Later in life, she relocated to Barnesville, GA to reunite with her family. On Monday, March 22, 2021, Linda, a loving mother of three; a daughter, a sister, a cousin and a friend was called home at the age of 55 years young. Linda was a strong-willed woman who was very in touch with her emotions. She would let everyone know just how she felt, but she could make the angriest person smile. She sought employment as a cashier at Georgia Chic. She was considerate and honestly cared for everyone she encountered. She would make everyone feel like family and feed them as such. She was a passionate movie watcher and loved her many grandchildren. Linda was the life of the party and would make it her duty to brighten your day. She could be described as many things from her descriptive facial expressions, to her argumentative persona-lity, to her ability to make every person laugh; but the main word that describes this angel is STRONG. She had amazing strength that nothing could compare to. The strength she instilled into her children, family and friends is a testament to the person she was. The one thing Linda really desired was to have her whole family together to create memories. In this tough time, Linda’s main wish would be for her family and friends not to come together and mourn but to come together again to celebrate her life. She wished for happiness instead of sorrow, smiles instead of tears, laughter instead of crying. Linda leaves behind her mother, Dorothy Harris; daughters, Mrs. Malidah (Jeremy) Horton of Barnesville, GA and Ms. Brishunna Collier of Macon, GA; a son Mr. Nafee (Mercedes) Harris of Germany; eleven grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Cathy (Richard) Ingram, Mrs. Cynthony Harris (Donald Coleman), Ms. Jessica Parson, and Ms. Lorraine Easterling; brothers, Mr. Mack (Betty) Harris Jr., Mr. Lonnie Harris, Mr. Bruce Harris and Mr. Jonathan Shell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends in the Lamar County area who will all cherish her memory.
