Mrs. Lula Belle Moreland Tarver, widow, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and Barnesville, Georgia native, earned her heavenly wings on November 7, 2025. Lula Belle Moreland Tarver was born on March 19, 1931, in Zebulon, Georgia, to Willie Moreland and Susie Mae Moreland and reared in Barnesville with her sister Irene Florence Moreland Hairston. She married Jerome Tarver and moved to Buffalo, New York, where she was a devoted member of Calvary Methodist Church for well over 50 years.

She is survived by two sons, Charles J. Moreland (Roxeanne) and Christopher Moreland, and a daughter, Patricia R. Greene (Barry). Her descendants now number 64 in Buffalo, 9 in Washington, DC, and 4 in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she resided for the last 4 years.
