Mrs. Nikeetia Lavoan Harvey Rutherford was born on February 2, l970, to Mrs. Rosetta Walker Harris and Mr. Randolph Harvey, Jr. in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia. At an early age, she joined the Pine Chapel Baptist Church.
She received her education in the Thomaston City School System. She graduated from R.E. Lee Institute and furthered her education earning an Associate Degree in Nursing.
During her early years, she was employed by International Paper and later at Upson-Lee High School as a secretary.
She met the love of her life and on November 15, 2002, she married Mr. Michael J. Rutherford. This made her life complete. They both took their vows seriously; so in sickness and health, they both remained committed to each other. Nikeetia loved sharing the Word of God and her testimony with others.
On Friday, December 5, 2025, the Lord said she had suffered enough. He called her name; she answered and went home to be at rest. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
