Obituary For Mrs. Patricia Ellerby

Mrs. Patricia Banks Ellerby passed on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Trice Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lamar County Fine Arts Center. Trice Funeral Home of Barnesville is in charge of all arrangements.

Mrs. Patricia Ann Ellerby 58 years old, born Patricia Ann Banks on November 6, 1964, in Barnesville, Georgia to Elizabeth Barber Banks and the late Charlie Byran Banks, Sr.

Being raised in the church she accepted Christ at an early age. She was an active member at Sandhill CME Church of Barnesville, Georgia participating in different ministries. She later joined Mount Sinai CME Church of Milner, Georgia where she continued to worship and sing in the church choir until her passing.

She graduated from Lamar County Comprehensive High School, with the class of 1983. Patricia was known for her beautiful spirit and singing voice. She loved singing for the residents at Sunny Grove Assistant Living Center in Barnesville, Georgia while working there for many years. She brought so much light to any room she entered.

Patricia was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Douglas Banks, aunts, uncles and beloved brother Charlie B. Banks, Jr.

Patricia leaves to cherish her life and legacy, daughters Kristen Banks ( Ryann Laster), Brittany Ellerby, Amber Murphy, Allison Ellerby, son, Antonio (Cyntavia) Banks, sisters Charlene Howard and Angela Durham, brother, Parish (Jill) Barber, 13 grandchildren, and 4 greatgrandchildren
