And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” John 14: 1-3 Mrs. Rebecca Harris Geiger, daughter of the late Clifford and Lovest Lucille Williams, was born in Barnesville, Georgia on September 3, 1945. She entered into her final resting place on Thursday, June 4, 2020, in Lithonia, Georgia. Rebecca attended the Public School System where she played basketball. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1963. At an early age, Rebecca was baptized and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She attended East Mount Sinai Baptist Church along with her siblings. They went to Sunday school then to church service every Sunday. Rebecca married Douglas Geiger in 1963 and that union was blessed with eight children. Rebecca was a dedicated servant of God. She loved to worship and was known for her powerful voice that rang out as the presence of the Holy Ghost was felt by all in attendance. Rebecca leaves to cherish her fond memories: Reverend Doctor Douglas (Dionne) Geiger, Jr., James Geiger, Bobby (Lakeitha) Geiger, Stephen Geiger; Stephanie Geiger, Dephanie Hiley, Melissa (Terr)Higgins, Bridget (James) Mack; brothers Clarence “Lil Boy” Williams, Bobby Holloway, James Paul Harris, Fred Harris; sisters Lena Mae Bentley Jackson, Johnye “Faye” Goodman, Shelly Mason; 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-greatgrandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Rebecca is preceded by brothers: Claude “Big Boy “ Williams and Tommy Harp.
