Mrs. Cheryl Ann Gwyn Hall Thompson was born on Nov 1, 1954 to the late Mrs. Ann Gwyn-Hall and Mr. Louis Hall in Detroit, Michigan. Her parents, brothers and sisters and grandson Kent Parr, III preceded her in death.
Cheryl joined the Saint Mary A.M.E. Church as an adult under the leadership of Rev. Coleman Dumas, III. She was a frequent worshipper and loved to praise the Lord, often standing in humble submission to the Lord during worship services.
She graduated from Marygrove College, Detroit Michigan Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Psychology with a Minor in English.
Cheryl was employed by the On Cue Music Corporation in Thomaston as its store manager for many years.
Afterwards, she was employed by the Tom Coleman Family as the bookkeeper for the Coleman Family Enterprise until retirement.
On Saturday, April 5, 2025 in the early morning hours, the Lord called Cheryl home to her heavenly rest.
She leaves to cherish her memory: Her 3 Children: Edward Gywn (Keila), her daughter Catricia Gwyn and Reginald Hall. Her Grandchildren: Marquis, Nasiya, Deangelo, DAnthony, Catonia, Christopher, Kent, Aaliyah, Yusef, Malakai and 3 great grandchildren Mylon, Malik & Kaleb. Her brothers and sisters through Christ: Delores, Becky, Vickie (Maurice) Junior, Aaron, Patricia, Joy Ragland and her Godson Willie Ragland. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends who mourn her transition.
