Obituary For Ms. Vikki Denise Thomas

Ms. Vikki Denise Thomas passed on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. A private Memorial Service will be held later. Please keep the Thomas family in prayer. Ms. Vikki Denise Thomas, the oldest daughter of the late Dianne Cunningham and James Thomas, was born on February 17, 1972. In Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia. She school in the Upson County School System and graduated from Upson High School with the Class of 1991. After graduation, she received her CDL certification and found a new love in the transportation industry as a driver for over 15 years. Vikki was genuinely one of a kind. What you saw is what you got. She was always full of life and laughter, which she shared with everyone here today. You could pick out her laugh in a room full of people. She was funny without trying to be, and she could tell a story like only she could. If you ever talked to Vikki, you know that is true. She took pride in her fingernails and her movie collection. She enjoyed listening to music from the 80’s and 90’s, traveling, and being on the road. Most importantly, she loved those that loved her. She was the first grandchild on both sides of her family. Vikki was the one who would call and check on everybody. She made sure her presence was felt although she was away, and her family knows she is going to continue this even though she is at rest. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dianne Cunningham. On Wednesday, November 23, 2022, the Lord called her name. She answered and went home to rest. Vikki is survived by her father, Mr. James (Frances) Thomas; close sisters an brothers, Meika Thomas-Evans (Felton) Erin Thomas and Korey Thomas; other siblings, Iaisha Marshall, Lakiesha and Carloss Ross; nieces and nephews, Saulamon and Mekiah Evans and Korien and Lamiece Thomas; and a host of other; including family members including aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family would like to recognize her best friends Yolanda Colbert Sneed and Allen Griffin as well.
