The day is past and gone. The evening shades appear. Oh, may we all remember well. Take your rest Brother Deac! To most who knew him called him Sweetnie, Booker, Henry or Deacon Booker. He was part of our family for over 40 years. Tell Charlene she can leave me alone now since she will have you to cut up with. I remember like it was yesterday, when I got baptized, Brother Deac and Hosea Garrett was about to dip me in water, I told Brother Deac that I was scared, he said that he was too! I'll never forget that moment. We will you miss you dearly but you'll have plenty of work to do! Sing and pray, pray and sing! The Sweet Chariot came to take you Home! Ride on and take your rest Brother Deac.(Sweetnie)
