Jack Harold Stephens was born on March 11, 1935 in Jasper, Tennessee to Albert and Lucille Stephens. As a young man, Jack graduated from Austin High School. After high school, Jack enlisted in the military. He served three years in the army and seventeen years in the Air Force as a top airplane mechanic. While serving in the military he enjoyed deployment in several countries. After retirement he enjoyed teaching JROTC at his Alma Mater. He later joined the railroad as a detective. His hobby included building and flying airplanes. In June 2008 he was baptized as a Jehovah Witness. He shared with many as he could his Faith in Jehovah God and Son Jesus Christ. On May 16, 2020, Jack passed away peacefully at home. He was preceded in death by his father and mother and two brothers: George Willis and David Stephens. A memorial service will be Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, Waynesboro, Georgia. He leaves to cherish his loving wife, Jacqueline Stephens, Sons: Charles (Robin) Stephens, Knoxville, TN Jaunte (Debra) Lord, McDonough, GA, Daughter: Jeneca (Lucius) Lord-Robinson, Grovetown, GA Grandkids: Zachary Rogers, Kenyatta Stephens, Alandrea Stephens, Janeeva Stephens, Charles Stephens Jr, Ajhanai Stephens, Sh’Vaunte, Jaunte Jr and Jaila Lord, Dynazsa, Destini and Shania Robinson, Laila Leverett, Jamari Wrease and Bryson Lord. 6 great grand kids. A dear cousin, Curtis Hurston. A host of relatives and sorrowing friends.
