I will always be your "Hamburglar". You gave the best hugs every time we saw you. You will be missed. Say hi to grandma, Uncle Robert, Uncle Donnie, and Uncle Walter. I love you Uncle Curkie.
Papa is all I ever knew you by. I was blessed to meet you and "Nana" through my daughter Cheyenne marrying your grandson Charles. I loved getting to come over and just enjoy watching all your Grandkids and Great Grandchildren running around , learning to walk and crawl with y'all, Pistol, Bullet, Arrow..... you had such a loving home and heart for your family and it will carry on through your legacy, through your Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, they felt it, they saw it, and they share it because of what you gave and shared with them. You are very Loved and will be Greatly missed!
Well Curtis we knew it was coming but sure didn't make it any easier. You were my Brother not Brother in law. I learned so much from you. There is a song about who would drop everything and come help no matter what time of day or night and that for sure was you. I tested that out a few times didn't I. You were the one that would open your home to anyone needing a place to stay or food to eat. My heart smiles when i think of the things we did together. Thanks for being the best person anyone could ever hope to meet. So many memories flash before my eyes as if it were happening right now. The late nights working on race cars, the first time you met Kathye, fishing on the brazos and wearing me and Jane out being the one catching while we just fished The comfort you gave when Roy passed, Mama, Daddy and Eddie. Sleep well and know i loved you as much as i could love anyone. God Knew what he was doing when you were born. Love you BROTHER. And thank you for loving my Sister. She picked a winner or maybe you did either way i am thankful for you being my family and your family for being family also. Going to cry now.
I love you Uncle Curky and am so proud to be your niece.

Curky, you were one of the sweetest brothers a sister could ask for. I remember when we were little and we had alot of snow one year and you made us some snow chairs. That was like so cool. We will all miss you but take comfort in knowing you are now in the arms of our Lord and Savior. I love you Bubba and will miss you always. Give our brother Robert a great big hug for me.
