Shirley lived a long prosperous life. May she rest until her creator calls her name in the resurrection of John 5:28 & 29. She is at peace - Acts 24:15
I went to work at The Shopper in 2010. The Haney's Appliance Store on Wise St was the first ad I ever sold. I saw her every week for 15 years outside The Shopper getting her community info. I used to make sure she didn't have to get out to get it off the stands when I saw her. She was always so kind to me. I'll never forget her. God bless you & keep you.
I am at a loss for words, Shirley was a very special person, someone I was honored to call friend though we knew each other a short time, and had few opportunities to visit. I will never forget when we met, at Elmwood. To her family, my sympathy, and prayers for you as you go through this saddest of times, that you will have strength, comfort and the Peace of Christ that passes all understanding. Frankie
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
