Dorcas Okor planted 5 trees in memory of Willie Edmon Almond . - June 18, 2025
Willie, Pat and I started walking in our neighborhood every day for the past five plus years. We discussed various topics during our walk. I found Willie to be a very intelligent, compassionate and God fearing man. He became my brother from another mother and words cannot express how much I am going to miss him. Willie, this is sister Dorcas bidding you farewell. May our ancestors and God's angels welcome you with open arms. You fought the good fight till that necessary appointment with our almighty God. May God continue to care for Pat, Morris, Josh and all the loved ones you left behind. Rest in God's beautiful home brother till we meet to part no more.
Willie and I was classmates of 1975 from Central High School. To his wife and children may God give you the strength at this time to hold on too all the good memories of your husband and father. My condolences goes out to all that knew Willie. He will forever be missed.🪽🪽🪽🪽
I have fond memories of Willie. He and I played on the central basketball team then went to state in 1974. We were able to reunite a few years ago at a West Georgia basketball game. I am so glad we reconnected. I am thankful for our friendship. Please accept our sincere condolences.
