My deepest sympathy. I have memories of snapping beans on your porch many summers; I loved your cole slaw; how you made little chairs out of soda cans. You are missed. ~Regina A. Lowery

Doodn, it's hard to accept you're gone. A void feeling has set in. I'm sure it will linger forever; for it's the fond memories of a dear sister that dance in my head and heart. They paint a rosy picture of you and your life. A picture that words written in this Guest Book can not do justice. I admired everything about you. Notably, your non-stopping conversations: we talked and laughed for hours on ends. No matter how hard I tried, I was never successful to just say, I love you, good-bye, and then actually leave. Leaving was always a cycle of: "Ok; I know you've got to go, but let me show you this before you leave". The efforts to leave became a bundle of joy and laughter within itself. When I finally got a chance to go, the departure embrace was powerful. Each one clearly said, "I love you. Be well, and Be Safe". Your passing now, just don't seem right. It is so out of place. Subconsciously, I was sure we would have had the opportunity to say some final farewells when that time came. I know you would have uttered some comforting words: something like, "I have toiled mightedly"; ... "No, look here baby, my time has come"; "Don't you worry none, and Don't you cry"; "Just keep God in your heart, and you will be ok". My loving Sister, Doodn, you will forever be missed. Baby Brother, James.
